The Upside/Downside Dilemma

Why is it so hard to stay motivated to stick to a diet and exercise program that will enable you to lose weight and improve your health and appearance? Because whatever you do will contain both an upside and a downside.

Wouldn't it be great if there was only an upside if you stick to your diet and only a downside if you break it? As shown below, unfortunately, with respect to you, the dieter, this is not possible. But it is possible with respect to something that is very important to you - your favorite charity. How?

With respect to you With respect to your favorite charity
If you stick to your diet

Upside

You will lose weight and improve your health and appearance Your charity will receive much-needed funds which will be used to uplift the lives of children and adults suffering from disease, hunger and poverty

Downside

You will be deprived of your favorite foods and the satisfying feeling of being full None!
If you break your diet

Upside

You will savor your favorite foods and experience the satisfying feeling of being full None!

Downside

You will gain weight and adversely impact your health and appearance Those much-needed funds will be cut off from your charity and it will be more difficult for it to uplift the lives of children and adults suffering from disease, hunger and poverty
